HOW TO PUT COORDINATES IN GOOGLE EARTH

This is a video showing how to put the coordinates from your GPS into Google Earth so to see the exact point on the planet.
There are several formats for writing degrees, all of them appearing in the same Lat, Long order.

DMS Degrees:Minutes:Seconds (49°30'00"N, 123°30'00"W)
DM Degrees:Decimal Minutes (49°30.0', -123°30.0'), (49d30.0m,-123d30.0')
DD Decimal Degrees (49.5000°,-123.5000°), generally with 4-6 decimal numbers.

So if you want to convert from one format to an other you can use THIS site.
This is very useful for safety reasons e.g. someone is lost somewhere and he has a GPS with him.So he calls you for help. You can put the coordinates in Google Earth and find him.

You can download these waypoints by pressing the Kml link (under the header) and convert it to gpx (for use with your gps device) with gpsvisualizer.com. In GpsVisualizer, upload the file in the green table, choose gpx file and then press Go!
On top of the page there is a link which says Click to download bla bla bla.gpx. That s it. You can now upload these water waypoints to your gps. Enjoy
